Rokosjøen Camping – A cozy retreat in nature
Rokosjøen Camping is a family-friendly campsite nestled in beautiful, tranquil surroundings by Rokosjøen in Løten, close to the municipal beach at Haverbekkvika. The site offers opportunities for birdwatching, hiking, paddling, and foraging for mushrooms and berries in season. Cultural monuments are within easy reach, and Løten center is just 8 km away.
The campsite provides annual, seasonal, and drop-in pitches, along with cozy cabins accommodating 2 to 5 guests. Facilities include modern sanitary amenities, Wi-Fi, and a portable toilet emptying station. A shared kitchen and lounge will be completed in 2025. Guests can enjoy a sauna, ice bathing, and winter snowshoeing, with equipment rentals and guided tours available.

About us
Rokosjøen Camping spans 20 hectares of serene nature by Rokosjøen lake in Løten. Run by Icelandic owners since 2019, we’re renovating the site to enhance your stay. Nearby attractions include Haverbekkvika beach, 13th-century Rokoberget church ruins, and Evenstenen glacial boulder. Rondanestien hiking trail passes through, and the area is perfect for cycling, berry and mushroom picking.
We offer drop-in, seasonal, and year-round spots for motorhomes, caravans, and tents, as well as cozy cabins near modern sanitary facilities. Our café serves home-baked treats, pizza, and drinks during summer. Enjoy free fishing, boat and canoe rentals, a playground, and beach volleyball.
Located close to Oslo, Hamar, and Elverum, Rokosjøen Camping has been open year-round since 1964. Recharge, savor good food, and immerse yourself in nature. Welcome to our “charging station for the soul.”
