Deer and moose often wander past the campsite, giving you rare and memorable encounters with wildlife in their natural habitat.

❄️ Activities on Ice and Snow

When conditions allow, you can head out onto the frozen lake – on foot, with skates, or on skis. Both ski tracks and a skating trail are prepared on the ice whenever the weather cooperates. As an overnight guest, you can borrow snowshoes for free (or rent them if you’re not staying with us) and explore the forest at your own pace. Create your own paths or follow those made by others. Ice fishing is also a popular activity for all ages.

🔥 After a Day Outdoors

After a day filled with adventure, you can warm up in the sauna – and for the brave, an ice bath is an invigorating option. Winter sunsets here are breathtaking, and when darkness falls you can sit by your own campfire, enjoy the starry sky, and maybe even catch a glimpse of the northern lights.
