A family-friendly getaway
Rokosjøen camping is a small family campsite in quiet surroundings and beautiful nature by Rokosjøen in Løten municipality right next to the municipal bathing beach in Haverbekkvika. Rokoberget and the Rondane trail are located next to the campsite.
The area offers a lot of birds, paddling on the lake, nice hiking trails in the forest and lots of mushrooms and berries in season. Cultural monuments within walking/biking/driving distance and approx. 8 km. to the center of Løten. Good Wi-Fi. We offer campsites on an annual basis, seasonal basis, as well as drop-in. The campsite is open all year round. We have cabins without running water with 2 to 5 beds.
We have brand new sanitary facilities with washing up facilities, disabled and family bathrooms, washing machine and dryer etc. Empty station for portable toilet. Shared kitchen/living room is under construction and will be ready in year 2025. Dogs are welcome if they are leached and if you pick up after them.

Year-round activities
In high season (summer) we have an open cafe with ice cream, soft drinks, home-bakedcakes, freshly baked waffles, pizza and some simple meals. We also offer freshly baked bread rolls for breakfast, which you can order the day before. We have a license to serve alcohol, in all categories. We rent out Sauna all year round, with place for 6 people and have an open hole in the ice in winter so you can try ice bathing.
We have a small playground, Frisbee golf (3 baskets) and a badminton court etc. You can rent/buy equipment at reception. We rent out rowing boats and canoes. We recommend paddling into Lake Vesle (litle) Rokosjøen. It is a nature reserve with lots of birds and other wild animals. There is a beach, beach volleyball court, bonfire and shared barbecue at Haverbekkvika, 500 meters away.
We rent outa room for meetings and parties with space for up to 100 people. During the winter season, it is popular with saunas and ice bathing, ice fishing and kilometres of both skiing and skating are available when the conditions permit. The area is excellent for snowshoeing, and we offer guided snowshoeing in the winter season. You can rent snowshoes from us.
