The campsite is about 0,2 hectares in quiet surroundings with beautiful nature and nice hiking trails, by Rokosjøen lake in Løten municipality. We are a small family business – run by the couple Sævar Hansson and Valdis Brynjolfsdottir from Iceland. We are new owners from the spring of 2019 and are working on upgrading / renovating the entire campsite. Something is finished and something is under construction.

In the immediate vicinity is the public lake shore Haverbekkvika, church ruins on Rokoberget from the 13th century and Evenstenen, a huge moving block, possibly the largest in Hedmark, which was brought here with the ice during the last ice age.

Along the campsite lies Rondanestien, a hiking road which stretches from Bjørvika in Oslo to Hjerkinn in Dovre, more than 400 km. The local area offers good cycling excursions and in season it is ideal to pick both berries and mushrooms. The village of Løten is only 8 minutes away by car, where you will find grocery stores, pharmacy, liquor store, restaurants, bank, trainstation and clothing store etc.
